Mechanical Specialist (HVAC)

Technical Specialist (HVAC & Mechanical) Lead the technical delivery of HVAC and mechanical systems for high-tech facility projects, representing the owner’s interests from design through construction, commissioning and handover. Responsibilities • Define technical requirements and review designs, specifications and proposed changes. • Provide expertise in cleanroom HVAC, chilled water, cooling water, clean dry air, process exhaust and mechanical utilities. • Work with EPC contractors, consultants, vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues. • Assess solutions for safety, compliance, cost, schedule, operational performance and maintainability. • Support equipment selection, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. Requirements • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biomedical, industrial, data centre or other high-tech facility projects. • Strong knowledge of HVAC, cleanroom and mechanical utility systems. • Experience across design, construction, commissioning and operational handover. • Familiarity with EPC delivery, design management and change management. • Professional Engineer registration and experience with Revit or Navisworks are advantages.
