Care Services Assistant [WCAN]

• Provide support to doctors and registered nurses during basic procedures and treatments under appropriate supervision. • Perform assigned basic care tasks, including wound care, in accordance with established procedures, training and instructions. • Monitor and record residents’ observations and vital signs as directed, and escalate any significant changes in condition to the registered nurse. • Assist residents with personal care, grooming and activities of daily living while promoting their comfort, dignity and independence. • Escort residents to medical appointments, outings and other approved activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
