Maintenance Technician – 1-Year Contract

Employment Type: 1-Year Contract Salary: S$2,800 – S$3,200 per month Working Days: Monday to Friday Working Hours: 7:40 AM – 5:00 PM Overtime: Expected when required, subject to applicable overtime limits Benefits • Two-way company transportation provided • Contract Completion Bonus Job Description We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance of production machinery, equipment and plant facilities within a manufacturing environment. Candidates should have prior hands-on experience in repairing, troubleshooting and servicing production machinery and equipment . Key Responsibilities • Maintain production machinery, equipment and plant facilities. • Perform troubleshooting, repair and servicing of production machinery and equipment. • Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). • Maintain preventive maintenance programmes for production equipment and plant facilities. • Perform daily start-up of production and facilities machinery. • Fabricate jigs and fixtures to support manufacturing processes. • Attend to minor repair requests from other departments. • Maintain and update maintenance work orders, TPM downtime records, compressor operating hours, hot work permits and equipment checklists. • Support the upkeep of facilities services, including air-conditioning, sprinkler protection systems, plumbing, power and lighting. • Conduct weekly Single Point Training for production operators. Requirements • NITEC / NTC certification, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline . • Relevant hands-on experience in machinery and equipment repair and maintenance within a manufacturing environment . • Experience in troubleshooting and servicing production machinery and equipment. • Familiar with preventive maintenance activities. • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. • Able to work overtime when required based on operational needs.
