Manager, Overseas Agent Sales (Shipping, up to $11000)

Job Responsibilities • Manage and grow relationships within WCA and other global freight forwarder networks. • Represent the company at international agent conferences and networking events. • Promote the company as a preferred destination / origin agent for inbound, outbound, and cross-trade business. • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new strategic overseas agents aligned with trade lane strategy. • Generate and develop agency-driven sales opportunities and follow up on RFQs and enquiries. • Drive balanced, two-way cargo flows and manage trade lane performance. • Work with pricing and operations teams to ensure competitive yet sustainable rate structures. • Ensure compliance with global agent network rules, payment protection policies, and dispute protocols. • Act as key escalation point for agent service, commercial, and dispute-related issues. Job Requirements • Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Maritime or related discipline with minimum 10 years of relevant shipping experience. • Highly numerate with good analytical thinking and quantitative skills. • Self-driven with ability to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) & people management. • Strong presence with the ability to interact with Senior Leadership. • Willing to Travel when required. • Appointment will commensurate with experience.
