Operating Room Nurse [WCAN]

• Provide nursing support to surgeons during operative procedures and maintain accurate and timely documentation. • Carry out Scrub Nurse and Anaesthetic Unit Nurse duties according to the requirements of each procedure and established clinical guidelines. • Coordinate with other departments to arrange safe patient transfers and transport. • Escort and orientate patients before, during and after transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort. • Provide post-operative recovery care and monitor patients in accordance with the relevant care protocols. • Participate in the review, development and improvement of nursing policies, protocols and procedures. • Undertake other nursing and operational duties as assigned by management.
