1 Year Accountant (GL) | Labrador Park | Up to $4700 #NKA

Location: Labrador Park Duration: 1 year contract Salary: Up to $4700 + 1 month completion bonus Job Responsibilities: • Work closely with accounting team in Malaysia to ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes • Detail review Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation prepared by accounting team to ensure no unreconciled items. • Lead accounting team for any ad-hoc project. • Analyse financial performance and provide variance analysis • Provide financial/accounting support to other departments/ business units • Prepare withholding tax return, GST return, declaration and related documentation requested by the tax authority. • Review, enhance, participate, and implement financial and control process improvement • Treasury function - Liaise with banks for banking matters • Plan and co-ordinate for quarterly and year-end stock take • Plan and co-ordinate for year-end fixed asset sighting • Liaise with internal and external auditors, addressing the audit issues, working with the operation team to ensure the implementation of audit recommendations • Assist for year end tax filing • Support the business and management in any business analysis, projects, initiatives, and other duties assigned. Job Requirements: • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline (or equivalent professional qualifications) • At least 2-3 years experiences in Accounting (GL) • Hands-on Experience with accounting software preferably Oracle (Oracle is not a must) Ally (Kubota Ayako) CEI Reg.
