🏫 School: St. Patrick’s School 📍 Location: 490 East Coast Road, Singapore 📅 Contract: 1 January 2027 – 31 December 2028 🕐 Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, inclusive of 1-hour lunch break 📌 Employment Type: Contract 🎯 Job Summary St. Patrick’s School is seeking an NFS Kitchen Assistant to support the Nutrition and Food Science (NFS) Department with practical lessons, kitchen operations, food preparation, inventory management and general kitchen maintenance. 🔧 Key Responsibilities • Prepare ingredient trays for NFS practical lessons and practical examinations. • Maintain cleanliness of two NFS kitchens , including:Sweeping and mopping.Cleaning cookers, tables and sinks when required.Clearing waste bins. • Assist with ordering:Food and ingredients.Kitchen equipment.Cleaning materials and equipment. • Monitor ingredient stocks and expiry dates . • Clean the refrigerators twice a year, in June and October . • Wash and fold kitchen towels and aprons using the available washing machine and dryer. • Report kitchen defects to the Operations Manager (OM) . • Perform other duties assigned by the Principal, Vice-Principal, HOD, Operations Manager or Administration Manager. • Support additional school requirements during periods when services are otherwise not required, with extra hours paid on a prorated basis. 🎓 Qualifications • Preferably secondary school education . • Ability to cook is preferred. 💼 Experience • Preferably at least 1 year of experience as an FCE Kitchen Assistant in a secondary school .
