Perm Buyer, Indirect Procurement (East) #BLM

Jobs Responsibilities • Manage end to end sourcing and procurement activities for spare parts, consumables, materials and services to support operational requirements. • Source and evaluate suppliers, review quotations and negotiate pricing and commercial terms while maintaining required quality and service standards. • Coordinate closely with suppliers, logistics and planning teams to ensure timely material delivery; proactively resolve supply and delivery issues. • Maintain accurate procurement records covering materials, vendors, pricing and expenditure to support purchasing decisions, planning and management reporting. • Monitor supplier performance across delivery, quality and service • Support procurement cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives; prepare regular procurement reports and ensure activities comply with established policies and safety requirements.
