Kitchen Assistant [EL]

• Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, cutting, peeling and portioning ingredients. • Support the cook and kitchen team with daily food preparation and meal service. • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, food preparation areas and dining areas. • Wash and clean kitchen utensils, cookware, equipment and work surfaces after use. • Assist with receiving, checking, storing and organising food ingredients and kitchen supplies. • Check the condition and freshness of food ingredients and report any concerns to the supervisor. • Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures at all times. • Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
