Ophthalmic Staff Nurse [WCAN]

• Provide nursing assistance to ophthalmic surgeons during eye-related operative procedures and ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation. • Perform Scrub Nurse responsibilities in accordance with established procedures, clinical protocols and professional standards. • Coordinate with relevant departments and healthcare teams to facilitate the safe and efficient transport and transfer of patients. • Escort and orientate patients during transfers while ensuring their safety, comfort and privacy. • Provide appropriate post-operative recovery care and monitor patients in accordance with established nursing protocols. • Participate in the review and continuous improvement of nursing protocols, policies and procedures. • Perform other nursing-related duties as assigned by management.
