• Assist the Project Manager in calculating quantities and costs for various tender submissions, and review supplier/contractor quotations to ensure full compliance with requirements. • Familiar with and able to interpret general contracts and tender documents. • Prepare budget estimates or costings as instructed. • Liaise with suppliers to arrange product and service presentations. • Provide solutions to technical issues that arise during the tender process. • Communicate effectively with other departments when handling documents and resolving issues. • Coordinate with suppliers/contractors to follow up on bills, quantities, and related matters. • Review and evaluate market unit rates for materials and labour on a monthly or quarterly basis. • Hand over all tender documents and costings to the project team once a tender is awarded. • Attend site show-rounds for tenders the company intends to participate in. • Prepare tender clarifications, and support tender interviews and presentations.
