Healthcare Support Assistant [WCAN]

• Assist doctors and registered nurses with basic procedures and treatments under supervision. • Support residents with basic care activities, including wound dressing, according to instructions and established care procedures. • Take and record residents’ vital signs and other observations as required, and report any changes in condition to the registered nurse. • Assist residents with daily activities such as personal grooming and other routine personal care needs. • Accompany residents for medical appointments, outings and other activities, providing appropriate assistance and supervision.
