Shipping / Logistics Coordinator Assistant $2,500 – $3,200 Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm Nearby Little India MRT Benefits: AWS, Bonus, AL up to 21 days Job Responsibilities • Handle import and export shipments via sea and air. • Prepare shipping documents, invoices, permits, cargo insurance and customs documents. • Coordinate container bookings, trucking, local deliveries and transportation arrangements. • Monitor vessel schedules and shipment status to ensure timely documentation. • Prepare and submit shipping documents including VGM, Bills of Lading (BL) and loading confirmations. • Apply for permits and Certificates of Origin through TradeNet and TradeWeb. • Coordinate with customers, overseas counterparts, shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters and warehouses. • Handle transshipment, LCL shipments and container clearance. • Verify shipping line charges and contractor invoices. • Submit relevant shipping documents for banking transactions, including D/P, D/A and L/C. • Maintain accurate shipping records and perform other logistics/administrative duties as assigned. Requirements • Minimum GCE O-Level or equivalent. • Prior experience in shipping, logistics, import/export or freight operations is an advantage. • Candidates without relevant experience are welcome to apply; training will be provided. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. • Knowledge of TradeNet, TradeWeb and shipping documentation is an advantage.
