Ophthalmic Nurse [WCAN]

• Assist ophthalmic surgeons during operative procedures and maintain complete and accurate nursing documentation. • Carry out Scrub Nurse duties according to the requirements of the procedure and established clinical guidelines. • Coordinate with other departments to support safe and timely patient transport and transfers. • Escort and orientate patients before and after procedures and during transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort. • Provide post-operative recovery care and monitor patients according to the relevant nursing care protocols. • Participate in the review, development and improvement of nursing policies, protocols and procedures. • Undertake other relevant nursing duties as assigned by management.
