DRIVER

Roles & Responsibilities • Safely operate company vans to deliver fresh, chilled, frozen, and meat products to customers, restaurants, supermarkets, and other designated locations. • Load and unload products carefully while ensuring the correct quantity, product condition, and delivery sequence. • Verify delivery orders, invoices, packing lists, and customer details before departure. • Maintain the required temperature and cold-chain standards throughout transportation. • Ensure all meat, fresh, chilled, and frozen products are handled hygienically and safely during loading, transportation, and delivery. • Complete deliveries according to assigned routes and scheduled delivery times. • Obtain customer signatures, delivery confirmations, and proof of delivery where required. • Collect cash, payments, or returned items when assigned and account for them accurately. • Inspect the delivery vehicle before and after each shift and report any defects, damage, or maintenance requirements. • Keep the vehicle clean, hygienic, and in compliance with company and food-safety requirements. • Report damaged, missing, incorrect, or rejected products immediately to the supervisor or dispatch team. • Handle customer enquiries professionally and maintain good customer service at every delivery point. • Follow all traffic laws, company driving policies, workplace safety procedures, and food-handling requirements. • Assist with warehouse loading, sorting, picking, and stock movement when required. • Maintain accurate delivery records, including mileage, fuel usage, delivery status, returns, and vehicle checks. • Ensure returned or rejected products are handled according to company procedures and food-safety requirements. • Communicate with the logistics/warehouse team regarding delivery delays, route issues, customer requests, and urgent orders. • Protect company property, products, documents, and customer information during delivery operations. • Perform other delivery, logistics, and operational duties assigned by management.
