Supply Chain Executive (Trade Operations & Insurance)

[Job ID: 1690688] Responsibilities • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers to support business operations. • Coordinate order fulfilment activities with factories and customers to ensure timely delivery. • Resolve supply chain and operational issues that may impact customer orders or shipments. • Negotiate freight rates with logistics providers to achieve cost-effective transportation solutions. • Arrange and manage shipment bookings in accordance with customer and operational requirements. • Provide guidance on cargo loss prevention and risk mitigation measures. • Liaise and negotiate with insurance providers on marine cargo claims and related matters. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of orders, shipments, and fulfilment activities. • Monitor supply chain performance and support continuous process improvements. Requirements • Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. • 3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain, trade operations, or related fields. • Working knowledge of marine cargo insurance and claims handling. • Familiarity with Incoterms 2020. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. • Experience with SAP HANA, SAP Business One, or similar ERP systems is an added advantage. • Understanding of international trade and supply chain operations. • Ability to travel occasionally for business purposes.
