[Job ID: 1687554] ◆Title: Japanese Speaking Accounting & Tax Advisory Consultant (Cross-Border & M&A) ◆Short Summary Support overseas expansion, M&A, and accounting & tax advisory projects across Southeast Asia. ◆Role Overview: Our client is a professional services firm supporting companies with accounting, tax, governance, and cross-border business operations across Southeast Asia. Due to business expansion, the team is looking for experienced accounting professionals to support overseas growth initiatives, M&A projects, and advisory engagements. This role offers exposure to regional stakeholders and opportunities to work closely with headquarters and overseas entities on complex accounting and tax matters. ◆Key Responsibilities: • Conduct accounting and tax due diligence for overseas expansion and M&A projects. • Provide accounting and tax support for overseas subsidiaries. • Support the establishment, enhancement, and improvement of internal control frameworks for overseas subsidiaries. • Coordinate with and prepare reports for headquarters and overseas entities. • Provide accounting and tax advisory services to clients. • Support cross-border business operations and related business initiatives. • Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned. ◆Requirements: [Must Have] • Minimum 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in an audit firm or accounting firm . • Practical working knowledge of accounting and taxation. • Proficiency in Japanese (reading, writing, and speaking) to liaise with Japanese-speaking clients, headquarters, and regional stakeholders.
