X-ray Specialist (Those without Experience from Bio-Sciences are welcome) #NJH

Job Scope: • Obtain consent from research participants. • Perform health assessments including anthropometry and blood pressure measurement when necessary. • (Upon completion of training) Perform bone densitometry and whole body composition scans on 20 participants per health screening session, keeping to the turnaround time per participant for that procedure. • Review images and perform data entry accurately, noting any observation of anomalies. Flag anomalies on the scan images to the radiologist for determination of clinical significance. • Analyse scans to derive the bone density and body composition accurately, and upload to the research database. • Perform regular quality control and calibration procedures and maintenance of equipment. • Update the inventory of consumables. • Ensure the safety and protect the privacy of research participants by adhering to best practices. Reporting of incidents, complaints or adverse events.
