IT Procurement Executive (Technology)

Responsibility • Identify and evaluate suppliers and vendors for IT hardware, equipment and related products/services. • Obtain quotations and compare prices, specifications, quality and delivery terms. • Negotiate contracts, pricing and payment terms with suppliers. • Prepare and issue purchase orders for IT hardware, equipment and related products/services. • Ensure timely delivery of IT hardware, equipment and services. • Maintain procurement records and purchase documentation. • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. • Resolve supplier-related issues such as delays, quality concerns, shortages or product discrepancies. • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and applicable regulations. • Coordinate with internal departments such as Finance, Warehouse, Sales and Operations on procurement requirements. Requirements • Diploma or equivalent qualification in Procurement, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in procurement or purchasing preferably in IT industry. • Relevant experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in an IT-related environment, is an advantage. • Basic knowledge of IT products, services, systems are preferred.
