Procurement Executive

Responsibilities • Manage daily procurement activities for materials, equipment, spare parts and services. • Review MRP requirements and plan purchases based on demand, inventory levels and lead times. • Source and evaluate local and overseas suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, reliability to meet required specifications. • Obtain quotations, conduct price comparisons and negotiate pricing and commercial terms. • Prepare POs and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery. • Monitor inventory levels, open POs and material shortages to ensure sufficient stock availability. • Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Warehouse and Technical teams on material requirements. • Resolve supplier issues relating to pricing, quality, quantity and delivery. • Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier information in the system. • Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and alternative sourcing. • Support project/product sourcing and other procurement activities as required. Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Engineering or related discipline. • Minimum 3 years of relevant procurement/purchasing experience. • Experience in MRP, inventory planning and ERP systems preferred. • Experience in industrial, engineering or technical products will be an advantage. • Good negotiation, analytical and supplier management skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel. • Able to work independently with good communication and coordination skills.
