Business Development Specialist

Our client, Prestigious Law Firm is seeking to recruit a Business Development Specialist (Senior Executive / Executive level) Location: Central Singapore Role Focus: Driving strategic growth, client acquisition, profile building, and market intelligence within the legal sector. Key Responsibilities: • Client Development & Pitches: Coordinate RFPs, pitches, presentations, and tenders. Drive key client account planning, relationship management, and coordinate BD events and logistics. • Market Intelligence & Research: Research clients, competitor activities, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and target priority sectors. • Profile Building & Communications: Manage submissions and interviews for major legal directories (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500, IFLR1000). Oversee sponsorships, conferences, and draft marketing collateral (brochures, capability statements). • Digital Communications: Advise on and manage social media, e-marketing campaigns, client alerts, and the firm’s website and client knowledge portals. • Knowledge Management: Maintain the firm's experience database by tracking representative matters, credentials, awards, and accolades. • Event Management: Project-manage client seminars, conferences, and internal alignment to maximize networking and business generation. Requirements: • Degree in Marketing, Business, Law, or a related discipline. • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in business development and/or marketing (professional services industry experience preferred). • Familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English. • Ability to communicate in Chinese is a plus point (To liaise with Chinese-speaking clients) • Excellent project management skills with keen attention to detail. • Confident in working collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organisation. • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
