Regional Airfreight Procurement Senior Manager [EL]

• Lead regional airfreight procurement strategy and activities across South Asia, Southeast Asia and Oceania. • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with airlines, GSAs and other carrier partners. • Manage regional RFQs, negotiations, contracts, annual rate reviews and carrier procurement exercises. • Secure competitive rates, capacity commitments and space allocations across key trade lanes. • Negotiate and manage BSAs, CPAs, long-term agreements, ad hoc rates and other procurement arrangements. • Monitor market conditions, airline networks, capacity trends and pricing developments to identify procurement opportunities. • Analyse trade lane supply and demand and recommend appropriate capacity and procurement strategies. • Develop contingency plans to address peak seasons, market disruptions and urgent capacity requirements. • Monitor carrier compliance and performance against agreed rates, capacity, service levels and commitments. • Drive initiatives to improve procurement savings, cost efficiency, margins, yield and carrier utilisation. • Establish regional procurement standards, governance and consistent practices across countries and business units. • Develop carrier KPIs and scorecards to measure savings, capacity utilisation, service quality and overall performance. • Conduct regular reviews with strategic airline partners and drive performance improvement actions. • Support customer tenders and commercial opportunities by securing competitive and reliable carrier solutions. • Collaborate with country teams, overseas offices, gateway operations, Finance and Management on procurement planning, budgeting and regional initiatives.
