• Review, investigate, and clear Transaction Monitoring (TM) alerts to support the timely reduction of the alert backlog • Conduct detailed analysis of transaction monitoring alerts and assess potential AML/CFT risks in accordance with the bank’s policies and procedures. • Perform timely reviews of ad-hoc escalations received from other functional units within the AML team. • Conduct due diligence and background checks on customers and transactions relating to suspicious cases or alerts. • Provide AML and Transaction Monitoring advisory and subject matter expertise to relevant business lines and internal functional units. • Liaise with stakeholders to obtain relevant information and supporting documentation required for alert investigations. • Ensure timely escalation of potentially suspicious cases and facilitate the appropriate escalation and filing of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) where required. Job Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Banking, Finance, Business, Law, Compliance, or a related discipline. • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in AML, Transaction Monitoring, KYC/CDD, or Financial Crime Compliance within the banking or financial services industry. • Good understanding of AML/CFT requirements, transaction monitoring processes, and suspicious transaction reporting.
