Accountant (1 Year Contract) up to $4.7K #NKC

Support monthly, quarterly and year-end financial closing activities. Review balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items. Analyse financial performance and prepare variance reports. Provide accounting and financial support to business teams. Prepare GST, withholding tax and other statutory filings and documentation. Support treasury activities and liaise with banks on banking matters. Coordinate stock takes and fixed asset verification exercises. Liaise with internal and external auditors and follow up on audit matters. Support year-end tax filing and other financial reporting activities. Identify and implement improvements to accounting and financial control processes. Lead or support finance-related projects and business analysis as required.
