Medical Technologist (Blood Bank / Haematology / Clinical Chemistry and Microbiology) - #HKH

• Working with the Laboratory business Office to perform a variety of Laboratory Test while rotating through various sections delivering accurate, reliable and precise test results in prompt and efficient manner which assists the physicians in patient diagnosis. • Performs routine test procedures, automated or manual, in the laboratory with little direct supervision. • assists in training of new personnel. • maintains a clean and well organised work area. • Maintains proper inventory level of all supplies and report any deficiency to the appropriate section manager or the designate. • Reviews all daily QC results and discuss any problems with the appropriate section manager or the designate. • Checks the performance of all instruments in the Laboratory and to report any which is not functioning properly. • Supports flexible staffing requirements in the department and participates in shift duties. • Complies with all regulatory guidelines, participating in CAP proficiency testing, National proficiency testing and inter Hospital QA programs. • Participates in a routine maintenance program for instruments and in on-going CME and professional devt programs. • Develops rapport with all the Laboratory Staffs as well with other Hospital departments. • Any other duties as assigned from time to time by management.
