Group Accounting Executive [EL]

• Oversee the review of subsidiaries’ monthly accounts, financial reporting packages and tax filing documentation to ensure accurate and timely reporting. • Coordinate month-end closing and tax compliance activities across assigned subsidiaries. • Analyse financial results and variances and prepare management reports highlighting key financial trends and matters requiring attention. • Monitor subsidiaries’ cash flow positions, funding requirements and capital needs, and communicate significant matters to management. • Provide technical accounting guidance and support to regional finance teams on accounting and reporting matters. • Coordinate the preparation of statutory financial statements and related financial reporting requirements. • Manage communications with outsourced accountants, company secretaries, auditors and tax consultants on behalf of subsidiaries. • Coordinate Group-level budgeting and forecasting exercises and consolidate relevant financial information from subsidiaries. • Monitor adherence to Group accounting policies, financial guidelines and internal control procedures. • Contribute to other Group finance initiatives and financial matters as assigned by management.
