Client Documentation Officer (12 Month Contract / Private Banking)

About the role Our client is a leading international private bank with a well-established presence in key financial markets across Asia and globally. They are seeking a Client Documentation Officer to join their Private Banking Operations team. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the onboarding and maintenance of client accounts by validating documentation and ensuring all requirements are fulfilled prior to account activation. • Evaluate client documentation to ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and internal governance standards, including MAS 626 requirements. • Coordinate with front office and support functions to resolve documentation gaps, clarify onboarding requirements, and facilitate a seamless client onboarding experience. • Monitor outstanding cases, exceptions, and account updates to ensure timely resolution and accurate maintenance of client records. • Participate in operational enhancement initiatives, testing activities, and projects aimed at improving efficiency, controls, and service delivery within the onboarding function. Requirements: • Degree holder with 3 to 4 years of Private Banking documentation review experience. • Good understanding of MAS 626, AML/KYC requirements, and account opening documentation processes. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify documentation gaps and compliance issues.
