Sales Engineer

We are looking for a Sales Engineer – Mechanical / Technical Draftingwith strong mechanical design and drawing interpretation skills. In this role, you will bridge the gap between customer technical requirements and manufacturing. You will interpret customer CAD drawings/2D prints, perform feasibility reviews (DFM), prepare accurate cost quotes, and manage technical communication with clients. Key Responsibilities Technical Drawing Review: Interpret customer 2D engineering drawings, 3D CAD models (STEP/IGES), and GD&T specifications. DFM & Feasibility: Evaluate Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and collaborate with internal production teams to confirm machining/fabrication processes. Client Engagement: Act as the technical point of contact during RFQs, presenting solutions and negotiating design/process revisions with clients. Key Requirements Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent practical experience). Technical Skills: Proficient in reading 2D/3D CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and understanding GD&T standards and manufacturing tolerances. Experience: 2–5 years of experience in technical sales, estimation, or mechanical design within a precision machining or manufacturing environment. Soft Skills: Strong commercial acumen, problem-solving mindset, and clear communication skills.
