Job Scope
Direct Student Support & Case Management
• Mentor High Needs Students (HNS) one-on-one, offering guidance, homework help, and emotional support.
• Assist with case management, parent/student engagement, progress tracking, and documentation.
Behavior & Student Well-Being
• Maintain discipline during daily routines and school events (e.g., camps, Speech Day).
• Deliver motivational talks and lead light physical activities to boost resilience and health.
Collaboration & Administration
• Coordinate student interventions with school staff and parents.
• Handle general administrative and office duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience
•
• Education: Diploma in Social Work, Youth Work, or an equivalent qualification.
• Professional Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in social work or youth work, preferably within a school or community setting.
Core Competencies & Skills
• Programme Development: Ability to design, customize, and deliver evidence-informed youth programmes tailored to student needs.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled in engaging students and building partnerships with teachers, school leaders, parents, and external agencies.
• Case Management & Assessment: Competent in assessing student needs, creating care and intervention plans, and facilitating group work or support groups.
• Monitoring & Evaluation: Strong evaluation skills to track programme outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
• Attributes & Discretion: An organized, adaptable team player capable of managing multiple priorities, alongside sound professional judgment and strict confidentiality.
• Working Hours & Schedule
Standard Hours: Tuesday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (includes a 1-hour lunch break).
Off Days: Mondays, Fridays, weekends, and gazetted public holidays.
