Senior/ Staff Nurse (UCC)

The Role Provide direct quality patient care to patients, maintain accurate records and uphold professional standards through continuing education and development. Key accountabilities • Manage and plan the care management of individual patient using the 4-prong Systematic Approach to Nursing Delivery comprising Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation. • Carry out physicians’ treatment/investigations as ordered. • Participate in action plans for the unit to enhance employee engagement and maximize employee performance. • Maintain current trends in nursing practice and management through formal education and self-development. • Ensure customer satisfaction, resolve and follow through quality/service issues. • Demonstrate competency in nursing core & special skills. • Perform duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager. Qualifications & Experience • SNB Registered Nurse Practicing Certificate • Diploma In Nursing/Degree Qualification • Post-basic Specialty Certificate (desirable) • Excellent interpersonal skills. • Good customer service skills. • Good telephone etiquette.
