Permit Declarant

Job Description • Permit Management: Processes and submits TradeNet declarations for imports, exports, and transshipments, including amendments and cancellations. • Documentation & Compliance: Verifies shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading) and ensures adherence to HS coding, valuation, GST, and duty requirements. • Stakeholder Coordination: Acts as a key liaison between freight forwarders, carriers, warehouse teams, and clients to resolve shipment issues and facilitate cargo release. • Financial Follow-up: Manages GST and duty payment inquiries with both internal teams and external parties. • Recordkeeping: Maintains organised logs and documentation to support regulatory audits. • Core Knowledge: Proficient in TradeNet with a solid grasp of HS classification, customs valuation, and local GST/tax frameworks. Requirements: • Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain / Logistics or related studies • Fresh graduates with a relevant Diploma/Degree and a strong interest in customs compliance are welcome to apply. Prior experience in supply chain operations is a plus. • Key Requirements Certification: Singapore Customs Competency Test for Declarants (SC401). • Technical System Requirements: Mandatory knowledge and hands-on operational experience in FMS - CargoWise One (CW1) • High attention to detail and ability to work under tight, time-sensitive shipping schedules • Good project management skills Working Hours : 5.5work days [Monday to Friday : 9am to 6pm ; Saturday : 9am to 12 noon] Working Location: SATS Airfreight Terminal Core A, 81 Airport Cargo Road, Singapore 819459
