Application Verification Officer

Designation: Application Verification Officer Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience Location: Singapore Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM & Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Job Summary Responsible for verifying application details and supporting documents for assistance schemes, obtaining further information or clarification from applicants, and ensuring application records are accurately updated and processed. Key Responsibilities • Verify application details and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy. • Identify missing information, discrepancies or clarification requirements. • Contact applicants and relevant parties through phone or email to obtain further information. • Perform data entry and update application records accurately. • Review and verify information against relevant systems and documentation. • Maintain proper records and documentation throughout the application process. • Track application status and ensure timely completion. • Handle applicant enquiries professionally and empathetically. • Follow established SOPs and processing requirements. Requirements • GCE 'A' Level with at least 3 passes, Diploma or recognised equivalent qualification. • Minimum 2 years of relevant Assistance Scheme Application Processing experience. • Experience in assistance programmes, social welfare schemes or similar benefit programmes. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Good communication and enquiry-handling skills. • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
