Commercial Lines, Underwriter

Responsibilities: • Identify and develop potential business areas and maintain professional relationship with existing and potential customers. This shall include provision of technical advice on customers' insurance need. • Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, and corporate clients to drive retention and acquisition. • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify growth areas and adjust strategies accordingly. • Underwrite commercial/industrial risks within delegated authority, adhering to underwriting guidelines and treaty terms; propose recommendations to Underwriting for risks beyond authority.
