Business Development Manger - IT Staffing

We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager to expand IT staffing and managed services business in Singapore. This role is ideal for a sales professional who understands the local contract staffing market, has an established network with hiring managers, and is experienced in selling IT talent solutions and managed services. This position requires a Hunter + Farmer approach. You will be responsible for building new client relationships while also expanding opportunities within existing accounts. Key Responsibilities New Business Development (Hunter) • Identify and develop new client opportunities for IT contract staffing, project staffing, and managed services. • Build relationships with CIOs, CTOs, IT leaders, procurement teams, and hiring managers across industries. • Generate and manage your own sales pipeline through networking, industry engagement, and market outreach. • Position tailored workforce solutions including contract staffing, team augmentation, project-based staffing, and managed service engagements. • Lead proposal development, commercial discussions, and contract negotiations. Account Management & Growth (Farmer) • Expand and deepen relationships within existing accounts by identifying additional hiring needs and service opportunities. • Work closely with delivery and recruitment teams to ensure successful fulfilment of staffing and managed services engagements. • Drive account expansion through workforce planning, vendor consolidation opportunities, and long-term staffing partnerships. Sales & Solution Engagement • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored workforce and technology service solutions aligned to client needs. • Participate in RFP/RFI processes and support the development of compelling proposals and value propositions. • Maintain good market awareness of technology hiring trends, contractor demand, and talent availability in Singapore. • Achieve and exceed sales targets, including revenue growth and new logo acquisition. Required Experience & Skills • Proven experience in IT staffing, technology recruitment sales, or managed services business development. • Good understanding of the Singapore contract staffing ecosystem, including vendor management programs (VMS/MSP), contractor hiring, and staffing frameworks. • Demonstrated track record in new business acquisition and account growth. • Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and decision makers. • Good commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and proposal development experience. • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. • Self-driven and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a sales pipeline independently.
