Regional Ethics & Compliance Specialist (Pharma/ Contract)
12 Months Contract
Location: Buona Vista
Salary : Up to $12,000 depending on experience
Our client is a global biopharmaceutical company focused on developing innovative medicines and healthcare solutions across areas such as immunology , oncology , neuroscience , eye care , and aesthetics . Singapore serves as a key regional hub for its commercial operations and manufacturing activities in Asia .
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly report to the Ethics & Compliance Director, Asia Pacific Region
Assist the Director and other country Ethics & Compliance Leads within Asia Pacific Region in deploying, maintaining and enhancing a best-in-class compliance program to support AbbVie’s business, including:
• Support the implementation, update and communication of local and global policies, procedures, and guidance documents
• Prepare training materials, conduct training sessions and deploy communication initiatives to employees
• Address compliance inquiries from employees
• Research, collect and analyze relevant company and industry data. Prepare reports and present to the Director and other stakeholders
• Manage, update and utilize various compliance databases
• Conduct business visits to markets and company events to identify opportunities for improvement
• Review relevant company records to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Support the Director by coordinating department events, initiatives, meetings and various campaigns
• Assist the Director during internal and external audits or investigations
• Foster a compliance culture across entire organization by role modelling compliant behavior
• Support the Director in day-to-day operations, including data analysis and administrative tasks
• Work on additional goals or assignments as determined by management
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in administrative, compliance, finance, marketing or similar functions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Out-going personality with ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to identify issues in different scenarios
• Ability to prioritize and structure workload and manage multiple tasks
