YWCA Fort Canning Hotel | Singapore At YWCA Fort Canning, hospitality is more than creating memorable stays. Through our hospitality social enterprise, the revenue generated supports YWCA’s community services and programmes — helping to empower women, strengthen families and uplift lives. We are now entering an exciting new chapter as YWCA Fort Canning transforms, rebrands and repositions itself. We are looking for an accomplished Director of Sales & Marketing to help bring this new brand to market, shape anddrive the commercial future. The Opportunity This is more than a traditional hotel sales and marketing leadership role. It is an opportunity to shape the commercial future of the Hotel as we bring a newly repositioned hospitality brand to life. Bringing together sales, marketing, revenue optimisation, distribution and strategic partnerships, you will translate the Hotel’s new positioning into commercial opportunities, strengthen key accounts and use market intelligence to sharpen decision-making. You will also build and lead a high-performing Sales & Marketing team with a strong culture of customer-focus, innovation and accountability. Working closely with the General Manager, Hotel leadership team and YWCA stakeholders, you will help build a distinctive hospitality proposition that combines commercial excellence with meaningful purpose — ultimately creating value for guests, the business and the communities YWCA serves. What You Bring You are an experienced hospitality commercial leader who combines strategic thinking with the energy and commercial instinct to build markets and make things happen. You will ideally bring: • A degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing or a related discipline. • At least 15 years of hospitality commercial experience, including 10 years in senior sales leadership . • A strong track record of driving hotel revenue growth and commercial performance. • Deep understanding of revenue management, distribution channels, sales and digital marketing. • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate market insight into business opportunities. • Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams. • The ability to navigate change, influence diverse stakeholders and operate effectively in a purpose-led organisation. • Established corporate and hospitality industry networks in Singapore (preferred). Most importantly, you will be excited by the challenge of building both commercial value and social value. Why Join Us? This role presents a rare opportunity to shape a brand at a pivotal point in its journey while contributing directly to a wider social mission. At the YWCA Fort Canning Hotel, your success will be measured not only by stronger revenue, market position and profitability, but also by your ability to build a sustainable hospitality business whose success enables YWCA to scale our impact footprints and do more for the community. If you are a commercial- driven, entrepreneurial and purpose-led hospitality leader ready to build a distinctive hotel brand and contribute to something bigger, we invite you to join us on the YWCA journey.
