Department Executive (Bazaar, Electronic, Textile)

The incumbent is responsible for managing both front and back-end store operations to ensure smooth operations. He/ she is expected to: ● Manage budgets, maximise profitability and set/ meet sales targets for your department such as Fresh Food department, Cashiering and Admin Services department etc. ● Analyse and interpret trends to facilitate planning ● Lead and motivate team to achieve organization goals ● Manage customers complaints, compliments and feedback ● Manage stock inventory and stock control ● Plan and manage promotional spaces and activities ● Recruit, train, supervise and appraise staff ● Plan and perform biannual stocktake for the store ● Ensure standards for quality, customer service, health and safety are met as well as compliance with various government legislation (NEA, SFA, SCDF etc.) ● Continuously review and enhance existing store operations and processes to improve business ● Involve in projects such as planning for new store opening and renovation works for existing stores Job Requirements: ● Degree in any discipline with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in service/ retail industry ● Great passion for the service / retail industry ● Highly customer-oriented, motivated, meticulous and results oriented ● Resourceful and problem solver with effective leadership skills and ability to motivate others ● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills ● Ability to plan, prioritise workload and delegate accordingly ● Ability to multi-task and work under pressure ● Team player with ability to collaborate and work effectively with a variety of stakeholders etc. ● Knowledge in running of BET categories will be a plus
