Civil Design, Senior Engineer

Why Join? • Work on a major underground infrastructure project in Changi • Be involved in both design and construction coordination • Gain exposure to temporary and permanent works • Work closely with experienced consultants, contractors and project teams • Opportunity to contribute to practical and innovative engineering solutions Key Responsibilities • Coordinate civil design works with construction teams, consultants, client representatives and subcontractors • Prepare and review shop drawings for temporary and permanent works • Coordinate design submissions and ensure drawings are completed accurately and on time • Review design calculations and prepare engineering calculations where required • Work closely with site teams to resolve design and construction issues • Support temporary works design and ensure solutions are safe, practical and cost-effective • Identify opportunities to improve constructability and optimise engineering solutions • Monitor design progress and highlight potential issues or delays to the Design Manager • Coordinate with QP(D), PE and relevant stakeholders for design approvals and endorsements • Provide technical support on ad hoc design matters throughout the project Role Requirements • Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board Singapore • At least 5 years of relevant local experience in the construction industry • Experience in underground construction, infrastructure or civil engineering projects is preferred • Good knowledge of Singapore construction standards and safety requirements • Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM/Revit and STAAD Pro • Strong analytical, communication and coordination skills • Able to work closely with both design and site teams If you are keen to explore this career opportunity, kindly send a copy of your resume to rrkc@rapidrecruitmentasia.com or simply click the button to APPLY NOW!
