Service Engineer (Gearbox/ Coupling/ Travel needed/ Mech background, 7.5K) Role Summary Tasks (including but not limited to): • All aspects of all makes and types of Industrial Gearbox & Power Transmission equipment service and repair • Strip, clean, inspect, repair, test run, report, assemble, pack, etc. • Establish root causes for Industrial and Wind power transmission equipment with minimum supervision. • Ability to exercise judgment on the spot and convey technical information to customers in order to reach the best outcome. • Frequent travel/site work will be required. • Willingness for learning and development, including OEM training. Mandatory skills: • Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualified • Industry knowledge - transmission products • Customer service skills • Good to have Industrial Gearbox Testing, Cert of Dogging, Rigging, Workat height or training will be given • Safety conscious with a thorough understanding and compliance with work safety standards • Technical ability to read engineering drawings and workshop measuring equipment • Ability to manage workload with a results-driven attitude • Basic computer skills • Dedicated, reliable, and able to work in a team • Good communication skills
