Terminal Operator Specialist (BL5)- One year contract! 💰 Salary: From $2,600/month 📍 Role: Terminal / Warehouse Operations 👥 Level: Team Lead / Supervisory 💼 About the Role We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Terminal Operator Specialist to support daily terminal and warehouse operations. You will be responsible for supervising the Admin/Operations team, coordinating inbound and outbound activities, managing resources and ensuring operational KPIs, safety and quality standards are consistently met. 🎯 Key Responsibilities 📦 Daily Operations & Planning • Plan and supervise daily inbound and outbound administrative and operations activities to achieve operational targets and KPIs. • Plan and allocate manpower and resources effectively to ensure smooth operations. • Coordinate and liaise with customers and transporters on day-to-day operational matters. • Manage customer returns and vendor returns. 👥 Team Supervision & Development • Lead and supervise the Admin/Operations team to ensure targets are consistently achieved. • Support team members in resolving booking and operational issues. • Train new and existing staff and maintain relevant training records. • Assist the Manager / Operations Executive in building a cohesive and high-performing team. 🛡️ Compliance, Safety & Quality • Ensure the team complies with HSE, Security, 5S and quality standards. • Monitor compliance with system processes and customer-specific requirements. • Identify and escalate operational non-conformances to the Manager / Operations Executive. • Follow up on corrective actions and ensure issues are resolved effectively. 💻 Systems & Continuous Improvement • Support system testing, upgrades and implementation activities with internal and external stakeholders. • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the Manager / Operations Executive. ⭐ Requirements • Preferably 3 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehouse, terminal or operations environments. • Proven experience leading and supervising a team is required. • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. • Familiarity with operational dashboards such as Power BI or Lee Yit Foong Jasmine +65 8911 0981 Reg No.: R22108682 EA License No.: 96C4864 Contact HR coordinator: Jeremy@businessedge.com.sg
