Quantity Surveyor (Electrical) | Costing, Tender & Contracts

Our client, an established engineering company in Singapore, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (Electrical) to support tendering, costing and commercial activities for engineering projects. Job Responsibilities • Prepare cost estimates for materials, labour, quantities and project requirements. • Prepare tender documents and commercial submissions. • Evaluate quotations and bids from suppliers and subcontractors. • Assist with contract and commercial negotiations. • Monitor project budgets, costs and variation works. • Prepare cost forecasts and commercial reports. • Assess completed works and support progress claims. • Process subcontractor payment assessments. • Assist in managing variation orders and contractual claims. • Identify commercial risks and support the resolution of contractual matters. • Conduct occasional project site checks when required. Job Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline with an electrical background . • Electrical knowledge / background is required. • Candidates with relevant QS, tendering, costing or electrical project experience are welcome. • Fresh graduates with a relevant electrical background are encouraged to apply. • Good numerical and analytical skills. • Good communication and coordination abilities. • Comfortable with occasional project-site visits.
