A World Of Opportunities AwaitsCompany Name: Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore Job Title: Sales Manager JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist the Director of Sales and Distributions in establishing a sales plan and budget to reflect the company’s and the hotel’s goals and objectives. • Maintains and upgrades communication networks to ensure that the hotel has a competitive advantage in information and sales leads. • Conducts market analysis and devises strategies for generating new business. • Analyses the sales results and recommends ways to improve sales. • Furnishes monthly sales reports on a timely basis. • Achieves budgeted room night quotas and average rates set out in the yearly business plan for the hotel. • Manage assigned portfolio, establish sales goals and strategies, handle sales activities, inquiries, site inspections, entertainment and negotiation to convert leads into definite business • Maintain valid call objectives and relevant action plans for each key account/key prospect and ensure all follow-up is done in a timely manner. • To establish and maintain rapport with clients to encourage repeat business. • Draft proposals & conduct meetings with clients. • Communicating client requirements in a timely and accurate manner to all internal departments as required ensures the delivery of superior guest service. • Maintain files, current trace dates, accurate history and all relevant booking activity. • Participate in daily and/or weekly Sales meetings as assigned. • Builds and strengthens relationships with existing (Dusit Gold & Golf Members) and new customers to enable future bookings. • Develop relationships within the community to strengthen and expand the customer base for sales opportunities. • Able to generate various reports from Travelclick to Opera to track FITs, Groups & Events. • Maintain up-to-date activity and room night production of each account for rooms and events. • Performs other duties as assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS • Minimum of 3 years room sales experience in the hospitality industry. • Have a positive attitude toward challenges and the drive to excel. • Possesses professional disposition with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
