Import Executive/Senior Executive

Location: Changi Industry: Freight Forwarding / Logistics Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-5.30pm & alternate Saturday 9am-1pm Join a fast-paced logistics environment where you will manage end-to-end airfreight import shipments and play a key role in ensuring smooth, timely, and accurate service delivery for customers. This role is suitable for candidates with hands-on airfreight import experience who enjoy coordination work, problem-solving, and customer communication. Key Responsibilities • Manage end-to-end airfreight import shipments, including arrival coordination, documentation, customs clearance, delivery arrangement, billing, and shipment closure • Act as the main point of contact for customers on import shipment enquiries, updates, and issue resolution • Coordinate with airlines, ground handling agents, trucking partners, customs authorities, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution • Monitor shipment status and ensure compliance with internal procedures, SLAs, and KPIs • Resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, and customs-related issues proactively • Maintain accurate shipment records, reports, and supporting documentation • Identify workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality • Support junior team members on import procedures and documentation where required (For Senior position) • Escalate unresolved operational issues to management and ensure appropriate follow-up Requirements • Experience in airfreight import customer service or operations • Good knowledge of end-to-end airfreight export processes, including documentation, customs requirements, and billing • Strong coordination and problem-solving skills • Good communication and customer service skills • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple shipments effectively • Hands-on experience with CargoWise is an advantage Talents@Work Pte Ltd (21C0501) Tan Jin Kai (R23115830)
