Welding Process Engineer

Job Responsibilities • Develop, standardize, and continuously optimize welding and production processes. • Prepare, review, and maintain engineering documents, including OMS, SOP, WI, WPS, PQR, and WPQ. • Design welding processes, select appropriate welding consumables/materials, and provide technical support to manufacturing. • Establish and improve process control systems and manufacturing workflows. • Design welding fixtures, jigs, and tooling to improve productivity, quality, and repeatability. • Support production through fixture improvements, troubleshooting, and process optimization. • Investigate welding defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). • Support NPI (New Product Introduction) activities and engineering change implementation. • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and other cross-functional teams. • Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Supervisor. Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline. • 1-2 years of relevant working experience in welding process engineering or manufacturing. • Familiar with NPI processes and engineering change management. • Knowledge of PFMEA, engineering documentation, and process control methodologies. • Proficient in SolidWorks for basic 3D modeling and 2D manufacturing drawing generation. • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Able to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Experience in the semiconductor or precision engineering industry is highly preferred. • Willing to work at East Region, Changi North Crescent
