Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated Sous Chef to maintain dish quality and consistency while collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities • Prepare and execute dishes by following recipes and guidelines to achieve high-quality and consistent food standards • Lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef to ensure seamless service delivery • Oversee a designated kitchen section to optimize operational efficiency and maintain consistent food quality • Enforce hygiene and food safety standards to comply with regulatory requirements and promote a safe kitchen environment • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their culinary skills and improve overall kitchen performance • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to maintain adequate ingredient supplies • Maintain a clean and organized workstation to support efficient kitchen workflow • Apply precise knife skills in food preparation, utilizing butchery experience when applicable to enhance dish quality • Manage workload effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail • Demonstrate integrity and a proactive willingness to learn and contribute positively to team growth
