To deliver a great guest experience – As the F&B Hostess, you’ll show around food and beverage outlets in a timely manner, helping guests to have memorable experiences whenever and wherever they dine. Your day-to-day: Meet and greet all guests and potential guests, at the front of the F&B outlet by ensuring the following: Ensure the F&B outlet is ready to receive guests prior to opening and that both wait staff and tables are ready in line with opening standards Ensure F&B outlet operating equipment is clean and in working order Maintaining impeccable uniform and personal presentation standards in accordance with hotel policy. Welcoming guests to the F&B outlet Being attentive to guest’s requests Escort guests to their preferred table or reserved table and seat guests according to F&B outlet standards Manage reservations and document in the Reservation book according to F&B outlet standards Train waiter staff and bus staff in hostess standards Be attentive to guests and resolve their complaints where possible, reporting all incidents to your Supervisor Take action to solve guest problems/complaints and use established guidelines for any service recovery to ensure guest satisfaction Receive guest payments and process transactions as outlined in the cash and charge procedures as needed Work as team and communicate and co-ordinate with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service Maintain responsibility of cleanliness of hostess stations, all menus and drink menus Assist with food & beverage service Maintain detailed knowledge of menu, including daily specials Ensure tables are cleared quietly and efficiently May assist with other duties as assigned Accountability Key Metrics – Completion of daily operational tasks Job details • Education: SPM / O Level / SKM Level 1 / SKM Level 2 / SKM Level 3 or Equivalent • Contract: Permanent • Working hours: 3 Shift Time • Openings: 1 • Sector: Accommodation • Closes: 2026-11-07 About Crowne Plaza Kuala Lumpur (50-250 employees) IHG Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s leading hotel brands with the return of IHG’s much- loved Crowne Plaza brand for the first time in a decade will allow guests in Malaysia to enjoy one of the world’s largest premium hotel brands and its signature work/life blend experience while providing a wide range of employment opportunities.
