PROTÉGÉ Graduate Trainee, Strategic Communications (Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur)

This program is designed to empower graduates with essential skills and hands-on experience to excel in the working landscape. Our comprehensive 9-12 month initiative combines career development training with practical on-the-job training, providing essential skills and genuine workplace exposure to establish a robust groundwork for a progressive career ahead. [Note - Program: Graduate Trainee Program (GeT) under the PROTÉGÉ Program] Responsibilities: • Assist in supporting the execution of communication strategies aligned with organisational goals and priorities. • Support ongoing communication plans and initiatives to ensure consistent messaging across channels. • Assist in managing social media platforms, including content planning, scheduling, publishing and monitoring engagement. • Support the creation of engaging content for social media, internal and external communications, and other communication channels. • Assist in building and maintaining relationships with media outlets and relevant stakeholders. • Support the preparation of press materials, including drafting press releases, media content and other communication materials. • Assist in coordinating media engagements such as press conferences, interviews and events. • Support writing, editing and proofreading of communication content to ensure clarity, accuracy and consistency with brand guidelines. • Contribute creative ideas for content and campaigns that strengthen audience engagement and enhance brand positioning. Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, or a related discipline. • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; internship or project experience in communications, social media, media or content creation is an advantage. • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with good command of English. • Good understanding of social media platforms and basic social media management. • Creative and able to develop engaging content across different communication channels.
