Receiving Officer

Industry: Hospitality Working Location: Orchard Road Working Hours: 44 hours, 5 days work week, Monday- friday (selected saturdays) Job Responsibilities • Receive, inspect and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery documents. • Check quantities, quality and condition of deliveries, and report any discrepancies or damages. • Record incoming and outgoing goods accurately in the hotel/inventory system. • Support stock counts, inventory audits and stock level monitoring. • Ensure goods are properly stored, organised and distributed to the relevant departments. • Maintain accurate records of delivery notes, invoices and inventory documentation. • Liaise with suppliers, procurement and internal departments to ensure smooth deliveries. • Ensure receiving and storage areas are clean, safe and organised. • Follow company procedures relating to procurement, inventory control, hygiene and safety. Requirements • Previous experience in receiving, storekeeping or inventory control is preferred. • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory/stock management systems . • Good English communication skills. • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. • Able to work independently and as part of a team. • Physically fit and comfortable handling goods and deliveries. • Responsible, positive and reliable attitude.
