Accounts Executive (Central/3.5k/5 days)

Job Summary Manage accounts payable and general ledger activities to ensure accurate financial records. Support month-end reporting, audit processes, and system improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain financial integrity. Responsibilities • Reconcile accounts payable by matching supplier statements against AP aging, accruals, and open purchase orders to ensure accuracy • Verify and process vendor invoices promptly to maintain timely payments • Generate accounts payable and recurring general ledger entries, assigning them correctly to cost centers or GL accounts • Create and post journal entries to keep financial records current and accurate • Contribute to month-end closing activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting • Manage prepayment and accrual journal entries to reflect accurate financial positions • Prepare monthly management accounts and reports for internal review • Assist internal and external auditors by providing required documentation and responding to audit queries • Support the implementation of new processes and system rollouts to improve financial operations • Undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned to support the finance team and business needs Required competencies and certifications • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent qualification (from "Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent qualification") • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience (from "At least 3 years of relevant work experience") • Strong bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese to effectively handle queries and requests from diverse stakeholders (from "Strong bilingual proficiency in both English and Chinese") Preferred competencies and qualifications • Audit background experience (from "candidates with audit background would be a plus") • Proficiency in MS Office applications to support financial data management and reporting (from "Strong proficiency in MS Office applications") • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within teams and with external parties (from "Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities") • Problem-solving and project management capabilities to contribute to process improvements and team objectives (from "A collaborative team member with strong problem-solving and project management capabilities") Other Information Reeve Lim Kok Kiong • Recruit Fast Pte.
