Student Care Officer

Job Description • Engage, befriend and mentor students with emotional, social and well-being needs. • Monitor and track students’ progress and provide appropriate support. • Plan and supervise activities at the Engagement Centre. • Organise and facilitate after-school engagement activities. • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding students’ progress and well-being. • Coordinate with community partners and support student participation in programmes. • Maintain accurate records of student interactions, progress and incidents. • Follow school safeguarding, emergency and confidentiality procedures. • Perform other student-related duties as assigned by the school. Requirements • Minimum 1 year of experience supporting or engaging youths in a school, social service or community setting. • Relevant youth work qualifications/certifications are preferred. • Good communication and interpersonal skills in English. • Strong ability to engage and mentor youths. • Empathetic, emotionally resilient and able to build trust with students
